Confession …Proclaims Submission, 2 Corinthians 9:13• To confess Christ as Lord is to demote all others,

including self.Enters the Presence of God, 2 John 7-11• To confess Christ as Lord is identify with God and

his people.

Beginning of the Fight1 Timothy 6:12• Before confessing the lordship of Christ, you

remain the slave of others.• After confessing the lordship of Christ, you begin

the resistance, the rightful rebellion, against the powers of this world.
