COMPOSITE BRAKE SHOE FOR RAIL VEHICLES TYPE K

CHARACTERISTIC

Composite brake shoe type K for freight cars, up to the maximal speeds of 120 km/h, locomotives and passenger cars up to speed of 160 km/h. It is made of asbestos-free, moulded friction material. It contains resins, elastomers, friction modifiers and mineral fibres reinforcing its structure.

The wear of this material is very low. The advantage of this material is a stable coefficient of friction in variable atmospheric conditions and high thermal resistance. FR513 meets the requirements of Code UIC 541-4 and TSI WAG. The freight cars equipped with FR513 brake shoes fulfill the requirements of TSI NOISE.

Disc brake pads for pneumatic and hydraulic brake systems of tram-cars and light rail vehicles. It is made of asbestos-free, moulded friction material. It contains synthetic elastomers, thermo-setting resins, friction modifiers as well as mineral and organic fibres reinforcing the structure.

It does not show aggressiveness to the anti-friction material and ensures quiet braking without sparking. A stable coefficient of friction and low wear level even for high loads and unit pressures.
