To know customs and traditions means to understand the people, their art and culture better.

Christmas is celebrated in Great Britain on December, 25 .

In the past boys and girls used to swim in rivers till late at night, they burned fires and, taking each-others hands, jumped over the fires. If after the jump they still held their hands together, it considered to be a good sign saying that the wedding is close.
