What they need in my experience- Water (not wet or soaking)- Carbon (bedding, newspaper)- Nitrogen (leaves/veggies)- Oxygen (air)- Soil- A safe, dark place (aerated bin)- Around 60-100°F (I have kept them ~25-110° F)

Step 1. Compost soil and food waste (may need to add water)

Step 4. Add sifted aged “worm mix” to aerated bin
