Begin leaf with first layer of lightest green

Add darkest green in between folds

Add lighter greens over and outward from the darkest green area

Repeat darkest green layer

Add lighter green over and around again

Repeat blending darkest to lightest green

Ensure there is gradient

And contrast between lines

Darken areas near lines

Continue blending dark and light areas

Use dark blue to add veins and contour lines

Leaf is done

Begin petal with lightest pink around the edge

Blend dark to lightest from the edge using darker pinks

Leave bottom area uncoloured

Use purple to add contour lines.

Add layers of darker pink over the dark edges

Use darkest blue for water patches

Add a layer of grey then turquoise over the blue

Lightest yellow around the base of first petal

Blend with the lightest brown along the line
