Concurrent Enrollment

• Colorado law that allows high school students to take college classes for both high school and college credit

• Class must go towards student’s future career or academic plan

• St Vrain Valley School District will pay for juniors and seniors to take two preapproved college classes a semester

• A 3 credit class at FRCC = .5 high school credit

• College level standing• 0-29 Freshman• 30-59 Sophomore

• Students who take two classes a semester during high school junior and senior year could graduate from high school with 24 college credits

Guarantee Transfer (GT)

• GT Pathways courses will transfer to every Liberal Arts & Sciences bachelor's degree at every public Colorado institution

• Depending on the degree the credit may be applied to major and elective requirements at the receiving instruction's discretion
