    CUSTOMS MEMORANDUM ORDERNo. _ r4 ~ -2015Subject: Revised Regulations for BOC Accreditation of

    Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) ILocators

    IPursuant to Department of Finance Order No. 107-2014 and by virtue of

    Section 608 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, as amended, thefollowing rules and regulations are hereby promulgated, to wr

    1. OBJECTIVE

    To promote an effective and efficient customs management by streamliningand simplifying the Customs accreditation procedure for PEZA locators therebycreating a more business and investor-friendly environment. I

    2. COVERAGE

    This Order shall cover all corporations, partnershlpsl cooperatives or soleproprietorships registered as locators by PEZA.

    3. OPERATIONAL PROVISIONS

    Considering that the documentary requirements an~ eligibility of locatorshave already been evaluated and passed upon by PEZA, which is the primaryregulating agency of locators within its special economic zones, the Bureau ofCustoms (BOC) shall no longer impose additional documertary requirements fortheir accreditation with the BOC.

    Accordingly, all locators that have already been registered and approvedby PEZA through the Client Profile Registration System (CPRS)-E2M Systemshall be activated immediately by the BOC - Management l'1formation System andTechnology Group (MISTG) after payment of an activation] fee of One ThousandPesos (Php 1,000.00) at the BOC - Cash Division and presentation of thecorresponding official receipt and copy of the CPRS Certificate of Registration toMISTG. I
