Class of 2020Senior Class Meeting

Cap and Gowns• Everyone needs cap and gown from Balfour. Price will

continue to rise each month. No gowns can be purchased after 5/1/20.

• Cap and gowns will be distributed by Ms. Cullum in early May.

• Link has been shared via Connect-ed, is on the announcements, and is posted around school. Signs posted in English classes of students who haven't yet purchased.

• If you have an older sibling (2017, 2018, 2019) and plan to wear their robe, let Ms. Schwartzel know AND buy a tassel.

• Each student owes both junior and senior dues.

• You can pay your dues two ways:

• Bring cash (exact change only) or a check (made out to Meade High) to Mr. Noone. You can come during pride, before school, or after school to D426 to pay dues.

• You can also pay dues online. There is a link at www.MeadeSeniorHigh.org

Paying Class Dues

• Letters detailing amounts owed have been sent to all students three times-

• A letter was mailed home in early Jan. • A letter was distributed through 1st period in late Jan.• A letter was distributed through 1st period in late Feb.

• At this time, all students should know how much they owe and whether their cap and gown is purchased.

• To help pay for dues, we are going to run another fundraiser through Claire's.

• If you have already paid your dues, you can earn a free prom ticket through your sales!!

• Sale starts today and runs through March 25th.

• Prom Dress Give-Away Event • New or gently worn prom dresses, size 0-26 available.

• Students will be allowed to receive ONE DRESS, plus one pair of shoes, one purse, and three pieces of jewelry.

Princess Project 2020

• Senior Awards Night is May 28th at 6pm here in the auditorium.

• All seniors are invited to attend.

• Anyone who cannot behave appropriately will be asked to leave.

• In addition to various awards, senior superlatives will be unveiled at Senior Awards Night.

• Information on how to help choose the superlatives as well as how to nominate your peers will be posted around the school in the upcoming weeks.

• If you have any ideas, feel free to share them with Ms. Schwartzel (D410) or Mr. Noone (D426) during Pride.

Senior Superlatives

• Graduation will take place on June 1st at 9am at Live Casino.

• In order to graduate you must complete a variety of requirements. Check with your counselor to go over all your credits and ensure you are set to graduate.

• From today forward-

• Any students who receive a suspension will not be able to attend prom.

• Any students who receive a referral may be prohibited from attending prom.

• Any students who are suspended may be prohibited from walking the stage at graduation.
