P1. INTELLIGENT PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM: I-PARK
Our modern society is increasingly lled with shopping malls, large entertainment centres, large transport hubs, etc., leading to exponen-tial growth in road traf c concentrations. The design of solutions to ef ciently manage these situations has become a priority. In particular, the car park sector has brought about the need to manage and optimise the resources available, adopting different solutions that offer a series of advantages to the end user and can have a direct im-pact on improving car park operations.
The simplicity of nding spaces will result in greater customer satisfac-tion, who will then reuse the service given the advantages it offers. The guidance system makes it easier for users to nd a free parking space in the car park.
One of these solutions is the Parking Space Mana-gement System, which quickly and ef ciently pro-vides information to the user, who is able to nd a parking space within the shortest possible time. With this system, car parks can become more easily accessible for their users.
The following objectives can be achieved with the guiding system:
• Increased customer loyalty, providing information about free parking spaces and guiding them to these spaces in the shortest possible time, thus improving quality of service in a car park with highly restrictive driving conditions.
• Shorter trips reduce contamination and the use of ventilation systems, which enables energy savings.
• The Operator receives information about the presence of ve-hicles, help with lost tickets, occupation statistics. All in all, the Operator has access to tools that can increase the effi ciency of the operation while optimising parking space occupation.
• Automatic zone occupation, with 100% optimisation of car park resources and facilities, reducing the consumption costs of the various car park systems. The facilities are only lit when nee-ded, so that their consumption is reduced to the bare minimum.
• Write-off studies concerning the investment in the CIRPARK system, in line with optimum management of the car park’s re-sources.

CIRCONTROL has developed various Global Ef ciency So-lutions with the goal of providing operators with the tools they require to achieve optimum EFFICIENCY AND SAVINGS in their car park facilities.CIRCONTROL solutions enable operators to maximise their pro ts from the operation of the car park, while increasing customer loyalty and improving their reputation, since they have the facilities with the highest added value in the mar-ket.
LED LIGHTING (INTELLIGENT CAR PARK LIGHTING MANAGE-MENT): • New LED lighting concept, integrated with the Car Park Guidance System, with the purpose of designing a car park that offers its users a more pleasant environment, based on the concept of COMFORT and leading to increased customer loyalty.
• Installation of LED lighting systems to achieve energy sa-vings of over 65% compared to facilities using uorescent lighting systems.
• Ef cient management of the car park’s lighting systems, according to occupation or the ow of vehicles, integration with the CIRPARK System, intelligent switching and regula-tion, according to the ow of vehicles, occupation and ow of customers.
• Reduction of installation costs. Installation system compatible with the CIRPARK system. The two systems can be installed in a single action, and both systems can be written off together.
• Installation costs written off in three years, with a reduction in electricity and maintenance bills. One 20W uorescent lamp per parking space 1,000 lumens – One 3W LED per parking space, 800 lumens. Three LEDs per parking space provide much more light with lower consumption.
• Lower maintenance costs, since the useful life of LEDs is 10 times longer than that of uorescent lamps. Larger investment, lower maintenance costs.

P3. SYSTEM FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CAR PARK AUTOMATION: POWER-PARK
CIRCONTROL offers the car park market the technology available for optimum management of electric power, reducing consumption to the bare minimum. This process starts with monitoring the consumption of the car park. Once the consumption information is received, the electric resources of the facility can be optimally managed.By means of the CIRFIRE System, CIRCONTROL activates the car park’s ventilation systems, performing intelligent management of all smoke-extraction systems. Finally, CIRCONTROL electronic technology provides all kinds of instruments for monitoring signals and remote or programmed actions, allowing the centralisation of all car park facilities.CIRCONTROL applications can be used with the CIRPARK-Scada, which is fully prepared for integration in TOTAL management applica-tions.
• Ef cient management of the ventilation systems to avoid sudden starting and stopping of the system. CO detectors send informa-tion to the station, which intelligently manages the movement of fans adapted with a speed regulator via the SCADA control software.
• Monitoring the power supply systems: Implementation of electric current meters, CVM-MINI, to collect up to 54 electricity parame-ters, with the option to display the information in consumption graphs.
• Preparation of energy ef ciency studies: Energy Saving studies can be drawn up using the parameters detected and the results obtained from optimum management of the ventilation and power mains systems. These offer the car park Operator ef cient, productive actions that can ve quickly written off.

P6. LICENSE-PLATE RECOGNITION SYSTEM: LPR-PARK
Conventional license-plate recognition systems simply capture an image of the license plate, process it and transfer it to a higher system. CIRCONTROL systems add a whole new range of additional features that offer multiple applications based on vehicle license-plate recognition. All CIRCONTROL solutions have been developed in the eld of access control systems to guarantee correct management and safety of multiple cases in this sector, where an image can provide a lot of information.
The LPR-PARK system represents major progress in systems that provide an optimum tool to support access control and other applications that require quick and accurate license-plate identi cation. The system can be installed on a single lane or on as many lanes as necessary according to the client-server structure and the IP cameras used by said structure. No video capture card is required.
It can be very easily installed and con gured, and includes options such as external database and network integration. In addition, it can be connected to digital video recorders, which associate the license plate with sequences, with GSM-GPRS connectivity for sending alarms and remote-maintenance services. Moreover, it offers the possibility of transferring the read license plates to other operating systems, such as, for example, machines for issuing and validating magnetic tickets at access control points. All in all, the LPR-PARK system is a highly reliable, accurate, exible system that can produce the expected results in many applications that require an standalone, sturdy license-plate recognition system that can be integrated with other control systems.
The following image-recognition solutions based on the capture of vehicle license plates are used:• LPR-SOFT license plate reading system for integrators• CAS-LPR/ACCESS access control system

P7. INTELLIGENT RECHARGING SOLUTIONS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES: CirCarLife (see section E)
CIRCONTROL, in partnership with various government departments and in response to their needs, has developed a new busi-ness line aimed at providing solutions for all future situations that may arise during the process of rolling out electric vehicles.CIRCONTROL has developed various intelligent systems for charging electric vehicles, which guarantee the optimum EFFICIEN-CY of the facilities. Each one of the solutions designed by CIRCONTROL ful ls a speci c function, currently covering the following range of op-tions:
• Intelligent charging system for city streets: o Solution for motorcycles o Solution for vehicle eets• Intelligent charging system for car parks: o Solution for integration with car park payment systems o Solution for integration with parking meters o Solutions for apartment buildings• Intelligent charging system for city streets: o Solution for Integration with motorway toll-collection systems o Solution for petrol stations
The range of solutions offered by CIRCONTROL takes into account what are considered to be basic needs: charging in cities, public car parks, petrol stations or private car parks (homes).
The intelligent vehicle-charging system has the following objective:
INTELLIGENT CHARGING SYSTEMS FOR CAR PARKS
Public underground car parks or car parks in buildings provide an optimum location for installing vehicle charging systems, since these operate with security or control staff and users feel safer leaving their vehicles plugged in at supervised facilities.
The Spanish government’s “Movele” plan contemplates a total of one million electric vehicles on the road by 2014. According to the Spanish association of car park operators - ASESGA, there are currently 1,200,000 parking spaces available in Spain.
The electric car is a new business for car park operators: • Profi ts, based on a new concept• Savings in maintenance and ventilation• Increased customer loyalty and comfort for customers and em-ployees
• Intelligent charging with the option of charging vehicles during off-peak hours, duration of the charging time and controlled charging to prevent the collapse of the grid.
• Prepaid systems, so that users only pay for the energy their vehicles consume.
• Completely safe, intuitive systems which can be used by any user.
At present there are approximately 27,000,000 vehicles registered in Spain, which means that there will have to be 44,000 parking spaces equipped with these systems by the year 2014 to service all the electric vehicles in circulation. These are theoretical calculations, but it remains a fact that the car park sector must be prepared to serve these users and increa-se their customer loyalty by making a rm commitment to green vehicles.

CDU-TCPSmart standalonedata centralising unit
The CDU-TCP unit has been designed with the latest CIRCON-TROL technology, based on CirCarLife Scada software. The in-side of the unit has a microprocessor with a 64 Mb memory and routines have been programmed for the drivers of the CIRCON-TROL devices. Up to 10 CIRCONTROL charging points can be connected to the RS-485 communications port. The Ethernet or optional 3G connection can be used to access this bus and its memory via remote communications, such as, for example, the Internet. It records and stores various weeks of data collected from the devices connected to the system in case of a loss of commu-nications with the control system (higher SCADA). Once the com-munications have been established again, the CDU-TCP returns the data stored in the memory to the control system (higher SCA-DA), preventing the loss of data during loss of communications. This unit can be programmed to manage events (alarms), taking into account the parameters of any CIRCONTROL unit connected to the unit.

Access and time & attendance control systems
What is an access control for?
Access control is becoming increasingly necessary in today’s competitive and aggressive society to provide security to the people who work or live in a place, to protect confidential in-formation and the knowledge of a business (know-how), to restrict access to files and personal databases (in accordance with data protection law that is mandatory - LOPD) preventing its loss or theft, ensure the integrity of buildings, property, faci-lities and their contents (IT material, multimedia, laboratories, warehouses, etc.).An access control is not only physical (doors, barriers or turns-tiles) but can also be computer-based, in other words, it ma-nages the access to the IT system, files, programs and data in digital format. It may be of interest to some organisations to also have this type of control (access rights configurable by computer, user, working hours, etc.) as well as an activity history in order to be able to trace back if necessary, all of this combined with the physical access control, using the same means of identification for both.
And also attendance control?
On the other hand, attendance (working hours) control of the employees, to record the hours worked and late arrivals, redu-ces absenteeism and unpunctuality, improving company pro-ductivity and profitability (ROE). This is now as necessary in a large organisation as it is in any other business with a smaller turnover (businesses, offices, factories, workshops, etc.). The greatest asset and the most significant expense of any com-pany is its workforce. These are solutions to different problems (security and human resources), and therefore only one of the two is usually imple-mented or this is done independently. However, in the event that they converge, the system must allow for all the informa-tion to be centralised in a single database, while still making it possible to manage each system independently and in a de-centralised manner.
In a network yes, but how?
To confer the utmost security and reliability to the operation of the entire system, the network controller must offer the possibi-lity of working in online mode (in the event that there is a guard or supervisor) and in offline mode, in which each controller acts in an automatic and independent manner on its accesses according to the parameters configured in its memory and it saves the records (events) to be subsequently transferred into the central database. In the event of offline operation, it is most important to take different factors of the controller into account: its capacity for users, its events memory and its fully indepen-dent control of each access that depends on it.
CirAccessAccess and time & attendance control systems
The software links it all.
The management software is what is going to enable the end user of the system to have full, simple and effective control of all the required functionalities (monitoring, events search, registering of users, configuration of access rights, the im-porting of external databases, data backup and restoration, etc.). It is important that it allows for client and client-server architecture that offers centralised management at remo-te sites, or otherwise distributed management (with multi-station computers with a central database on the server). It must also be able to grow if user requirements increase, and so a good solution is software with combinable modules that can be activated as necessary to add new identification mo-des and even with the possibility of access and attendance (working hours) control in a single database.
Open hardware: A great added value.
In conclusion, it must be mentioned that an access control system must allow fast and easy integration by other com-panies specialising in software development or integrators, providing them with the necessary IT tools and technical su-pport.

A1.1 SECURE ACCESS NET Network access control (identi cation by RFID proximity, radio control and remote control)
A1. ACCESS AND ATTENDANCE CONTROL SYSTEMS (TIME/ATTENDANCE) DISTRIBUTED IN TCP/IP NETWORK WITH CENTRALISED MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
SECURE ACCESS NET is an effective solution to the access control needs of any organisation. The controller is fast, robust and powerful, based on native TCP/IP communication and an em-bedded ARM Linux microprocessor. Installation is via computer network, with an easily scalable distributed architecture.
The RFID readers offer secure, comfortable and maintenance-free identification, using different elements (proximity cards, key rings or bracelets and radio remote or “hands free” remote control).
The basic QUICK ACCESS software for centralised system ma-nagement, provides a practical and simple user interface. Conti-nuous software use is unnecessary; once the controller is configu-red, it autonomously controls accesses offline.
SECURE ACCESS NET is the ideal solution for access con-trol and consultation of related data.

A1.3 LPR-PARK Network access control (Identi cation via licence plate recognition)Network access control (identification via licence plate recognition)
The LPR-PARK system, developed and manufactured by CIRCONTROL, uses licence plate reading as an effective solution to the access control needs of any organisation or car park.
The system captures the image with a native IP camera, specially prepared for licence pla-te images, which integrates a filter and infrared light to obtain the best quality in any situation (indoors or outdoors). It immediately processes the image with powerful OCR algorithms developed by experts in artificial neuronal vision, thus obtaining an instant image of the li-cence plate. The data is sent to the CAS station, which opens the access depending on the authorisations of each user.
The LPR-PARK system is fast, robust and powerful, based on TCP/IP communication. Ins-tallation is via the computer network, with an easily scalable, distributed architecture with centralised system management, via a practical, simple user interface.

A2. OFFLINE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM WITH MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
CIRPASS is an innovative CABLE-FREE access control system, based on the advantages of Mifare security identification technology. It is an effective solution to access control needs for locations that are isolated or difficult to wire. It also provides considerable savings in installation time and costs.
With the CIRPASS system, private authorisations for each user are re-gistered in the access card itself (no limit to users). This way there is no need for the control points to communicate with each other or with the management station software. Installation is fast, economic, easy and scalable.
The system offers advanced control features: Selection of authorised control points (up to 512) and time, expiry (date, quantity of accesses or passes through reader), antipassback (input/output or time), access registry for later consultation, user black list, etc.
A CIRPASS kit is assembled at each control point, consisting of a controller and Mifare reader/writer (only requires power supply and relay connection to the opening mechanism). The RFID reader/writer offers a secure, comfortable and maintenance-free identifi-cation system. SOFT PASS software, with a practical and user friendly interface, allows the system to be managed (user creation, control points, card recording and events consultations) by using a Mifare USB reader/writer.
Complicated access control applications are made easy with the CIRPASS system: Isolated locations (rural houses, transformer substations, wind farms, telecommunications antennae, ski resorts, etc) or others that are difficult for wiring (sports complexes, tourist complexes, historic buildings, seaports, universities, museums, etc).
The Mifare card is also available in key ring or bracelet format. It is also compatible with other CIRCONTROL access control (network or autonomous) and time/attendance control systems, and can be used as a unique identification element in all of them.

A3. AUTONOMOUS ACCESS CONTROL TERMINALS
At CIRCONTROL we develop and make simple access control solutions with au-tonomous devices, sufficient for many users who are not looking for more complex solutions. Network installations with software are not always necessary if they do not provide more advantages than the ones that are needed. Simpler installation and use solutions are often much better, while at the same time they provide enough security for real control needs.
Autonomous terminals do not need to be connected to the IT network, nor do they re-quire a PC with configuration and management software. They have their own internal menu. with the necessary settings for start-up and use. All this also results in conside-rable cost savings.
We have autonomous terminals with RFID identification (proximity card, key ring or bracelet, or even radio control for vehicles), fingerprint and PIN. These identification elements are also compatible with other CIRCONTROL systems for access and time/attendance control, and can be used as a unique identification element in all of them.
CIRCONTROL autonomous devices are recommended for a large number of access control applications, such as: rented storage rooms and offices, IT equipment data centre rooms, warehouses and workshops, tourist apartments and rural houses, priva-te residences and neighbourhood associations, businesses, bars and restaurants, etc.

CONTROL TERMINALS (UP TO TWO ACCESSES)
KIT DNI 1-PI LF 160003
For 1 indoor pedestrian access. Consists of a Secure Access DNI LF autonomous terminal, with integrated LF RFID proximity reader. Permits connection to an RS-485 external reader to extend it to 2 accesses (not included). Capacity for up to 500 users (250 users if all of them have card or key ring and radio control). Configuration via a simple, intuitive multi-language menu (protected with Administrator card or PIN). The main feature is the possibility of linking users' tags (proximity card, key ring or bracelet) to their own national ID card or passport number. This way a user can be eliminated from the system without having to have his/her tag physically present or interfering with other users; this data is simply used in the "Removal" function. The device has 2 digital inputs to activate 2 relays using a button. The elegant design, ease of insta-llation (surface/embedded) and simple handling, make it the right solution for many autonomous access control applications. Indoor use. Supply 12 V DC (external source included). Dimensions: 209x144x47 mm.
Optional reader for extension to two accesses:
CP-ES, CP-E, CP-L, CP-A (pedestrian access with LF card, key ring or bracelet identi-fication).CP-LR (garage access with radio control identification)

A3.1 SECURE ACCESS DNI Autonomous access control for up to 2 doors and 500 users (RFID proximity card and radio control identi cation)
CIRCONTROL has developed an innovative autonomous access control terminal. Thanks to its intuitive menu, the device is easy to ins-tall and configure using the built-in screen and touch pad. Menu use is protected by an Administrator card or PIN. The integrated RFID reader offers a secure, comfortable and maintenance-free identification system (proximity card, key ring or bracelet, or even radio control for vehicles).
Capacity for up to 500 users. The terminal has an innovative functio-nality to give it greater value: it allows the user’s national ID card or passport number (8 digits) to be linked, and with just this data the user can be removed from the device, with no need to have the card or radio control physically available and without interfering with other users!
It also has 2 relays, which can manage control of 2 accesses, simply by connecting an external reader to the terminal (for indoor and outdoor use or with radio control for garages). It is provided in pre-prepared kits for each application.
Installation just requires wall mounting (surface or embedded), power supply and connection of the relay to the door opening mecha-nism. Practical but elegant design. Does not require connection to IT network or PC with software.

INTELLIGENT VIDEO ANALYSIS SYSTEM
CIRCONTROL supplements its own products with systems and solutions from leading specialised manufacturers. These selected Partners offer quality, innovation and technology, and maintain a close, ongoing relationship with the CIRCONTROL technical and sales teams.
Since 2004, VGUARD (Video Guard), our technology Partner for perimeter intrusion detection, has been the leading Spanish manufacturer of intelligent video analysis systems. Their R & D & i team is comprised of engineers and experts in artificial vision and neural analysis. They hold the prestigious i-LIDS Primary Certification issued by the United Kingdom Home Office (which guarantees their quality and reliability).
Their innovative video analysis system continuously analyses the images provided by security cameras and immediately sends an alarm to the Control Centre in an intrusion situation. It acts as a "virtual guard".
Their perimeter detection system is currently used in several countries, with over 5000 channels in operation controlled by over 40 ARCs(Alarm Receiving Centres). One factor that sets it apart is its ease of implementation, thanks to its automatic configuring technology, thus providing significant savings on installation costs.

By applying complex image-analysis algorithms, the VGUARD system immediately detects perimeter intrusion. It constantly analyses images obtained from analogue CCTV cameras or network IP digital cameras. Existing CCTV installations can be used for active intrusion surveillance at no additional cost. It's like having a “VIRTUAL GUARD”.
Scalable system (combining equipment with 2, 4, 6 and 8 channels). It allows multiple detection zones, rules and alarm schedules to be configured, and is able to distinguish between people and vehicles. It has an automatic configuration assistant for quick and easy implementation. It is the ideal solution for protecting open spaces and external perimeters, without the need to install additional perimeter sensors, resulting in substantial savings on installation and civil works. It reinforces the work of local or remote security personnel (ARC or Control Centre) with an effective system that never rests. A detection system based on video analysis provides better protection because it cannot be avoided.
The detection sequences are logged (pre/post alarm) and the ARC or Control Centre is automatically notified immediately. The alarm is received with the associated image (framing the detected intruder), which enables easy and instant confirmation by security personnel. If the review confirms that the alarm is positive, quick and effective action can be taken. The end client perceives better security because he is only informed following positive video confirmation, which also avoids important sanctions for reporting false alarms to police.
Examples of applications: warehouses for construction, copper wiring, machinery, vehicle compounds, solar or wind farms, industry, transformer stations, gas tanks, vineyards, universities, outdoor car parks, neighbourhoods, industrial parks, properties, high-class residences, military compounds, public administrations, embassies, ports, airports, etc.
Main features:
• Identifies protected external perimeter intrusion as it occurs, enabling on-time reaction• Distinguishes between people and vehicles • Detects the crossing of virtual barriers, with configurable passage directions• Automatically filters elements in the surroundings (lighting changes, moving plants, rain, etc.)• Greater detection coverage than physical sensors Does not require other detectors to be installed• No false alarms: The security guard or the ARC only reports real incidents (video verification)• Privacy: Only allows operator connection when there is an alarm• Rapid and effective preventive action: Remote relays and audio can be activated during an alarm• Simple handling: Alarms can be activated and deactivated with a conventional keyboard

VGUARD-CAR* 550999 Professional software for centralised receiving, verifying and managing video alarms. Easy, quick and intuitive to use in 3 clicks. Automatically receives the VGUARD analyser intrusion alarm via TCP/IP (LAN/Internet), with the image of the detection and the target intruder framed. Enables instant video verification and effective reaction to a real alarm. In the event of an alarm, the operator can request the video sequence of the intrusion detec-tion (with pre-alarm) from the system and save a copy. To give an immediate dissuasive response during an alarm, the operator can connect to see the live video and act remotely with the VGUARD equipment relays, and even transmit audio (only during an alarm). In-cludes a license for 10 ARC subscribers (regardless of the number of units connected in a single installation). Subscriber data management. It can be integrated directly into the ARC software (consult previous integrations).
VGUARD-CRA/L* 550999 License for increasing the number of subscribers.

V2. THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS FOR SECURITY APPLICATIONS
NEW
The family of thermal cameras includes equipment for fixed or motorised installation, assemblies comprising a thermal imaging camera, TV camera and positioner, with IP communications and H.264 video encoding, or serial communication with PelcoD protocol, and analogue video outlets.
A thermal imaging camera has the following advantages over a conventional TV camera:
• Can see in total darkness
• Does not require additional lighting of any type
• Sees through smoke and the most adverse meteorological conditions: rain, snow, certain fog conditions, etc.
• Easily integrated into conventional CCTV systems
• Very reduced consumption
• Has a greater detection range than cameras using IR or conventional lamps
• Practically non-existent maintenance
• When used with video analysis systems, it provides greater efficiency, improves detection range, and notably reduces false alarms.
