Old Business:
Newsletter – Dennis has cleaned up the newsletter and deleted all current for sale
items that were not renewed. Let him know if you want an ad added in future issues.
When sending an ad to Dennis, please make sure it is written out as you wish it to
appear in the newsletter
New Business:
Christmas Party planning. Jenny Hart reconfirmed that the regular meeting room at
the old antique car museum is available on December 12 for the party. Last year’s email will be used as template for food planning. The Club will provide meats and paper goods.
Jenny needs help from members with set up, decorations centerpieces, etc. Members
should also bring a wrapped gift labeled for a man or a woman or either with a suggested limit of $10. Members were asked to contact Jenny with their offers of assistance or to sign
up on the pad of paper provided at the table provided for voting for Member of the Year. Jenny also advised that Mrs. Moore advised that DeVoe is in the process of renovating the
entire center in which the Club currently meets. No deadline was given, but ALL members need to give serious thought to other locations in which future monthly meetings can be
held.
Having heard no nominations for board members since first requested, a motion was
presented by Craig McCollum and seconded by Kathy Madsen that the current board
members continue for 2018. Upon unanimous vote of those voting, the motion passed.
Welcome to the continuing Board.
All members then joined in a resounding THANK YOU to the Pumphreys for providing
such a wonderful venue and support for the Club.
Congratulations to ______________ winner of the Member of the Year award.
Program: Members then proceeded outside for the auction, the proceeds of which will
benefit the Club treasury.
Next Meeting:
The next meeting will be the annual Christmas party and will be held on Tuesday
December 12, 2017 at the regular club meeting room located in the old antique car museum banquet room. We will start at 5:30 so bring you food items then. The plan
is to begin eating at 6 with the gift exchange to follow.
See above for further details.
