He isthe brother of French lm director Stphane Clavier.1 Life and careerAfter his high class studies at the Neuilly Lyce Pasteurthough asserted here and there, he never studied at Institutd'tudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po)[2]he startedhis actor career with the comedic theater troupe Splendid,which had hits with lms like Les Bronzs font du ski andLe Pre Nol est une ordure.His most notable success without the Splendid group, andby far his biggest hit to date, was in the 1993 lm les Vis-iteurs, where he played a character known as Jacquouillela fripouille; the characters cry of Okkkayyy!!" becamea popular exclamation after the movies success.AfterlesVisiteurs he was a certied star, participatinginbig-budgetlmslikeAstrixet OblixcontreCsar,Astrix & Oblix: Mission Cloptre, and the sequel andremake of Visiteurs.
