My design practice is very diverse showing my skills across multiple disciplines although I find my passion lies in Editorial & Layout. Typography fascinates me and drives my practice especially when combined with photography.

As a designer I thrive to collaborate with others and I find working as part of a team gives rise to new exciting design outcomes.

When I'm not working I save what money I have to travel the world and capture every moment through my love of photography.

Editorial & Layout

Adobe creative suite CS5.5 & CS6. Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are specialist areas I work in confidently & efficiently.

Print & Stock

High level understanding of different print finishes and stock choices.

Additional

Extensive knowledge of screen printing and other more traditional printing methods. I am also very competent when working with moving image using After Effects and Final Cut Pro/Final Cut X

Photography

I am very competent when handling a camera and I have a good knowledge of studio lighting & image post production.

Loose Clothing is a collaborative established clothing company. My main roles within the company was editorial based and directing photography for the Autumn / Winter look book.

Modern No. 4

Modern No.4 is typeface I designed aimed at Fashion editorial. The overall all characteristics of the typeface were based on Didot and reworked to produce a more bold curvy yet modern typeface.

The photography used was taken by Fashion photographer Thierry Sewell.
