• UNICEF determined that humans only need to about 5 gallons of water for day to day living

• Avg. US house hold use at approximately 1,500 gallons

• Project seeks to change consumption behaviors in urban high school students

Enhancing Conservation Education

• Integrate conservation techniques into existing curriculum

• Address challenges educators face regarding environmental education by:– Coordinating inaugural workshop weekend– Providing a forum for meaningful lesson planning– Using practical water conservation techniques.
