To provide advocacy for and facilitate networking among cultural heritage communities

CERL Newsletter

Tasks: To produce 2 issues per year To review the CERL Newsletter Conduct a short survey of CERL directors and committee

members to gather their thoughts and observations (Spring 2017)

Particularly interested in format, frequency, content, name and strengths/weaknesses

[Results may be known in time for Athens meeting] Any changes to be implemented by the end of 2017

To keep the website up-to-date and fully functional

Once the Newsletter review is complete, we will set up a small task force to consider how website navigation might be improved (2017-18)

Leaflets

Tasks:

Distribute CERL leaflets as required

Organise the printing of further leaflets when supplies begin to run low

Produce a joint CERL-British Library leaftlet about the Incunabula Short Title Catalogue (in time for the American Library Association’s Rare Books & Manuscripts Section annual conference, Iowa City, June 2017)
