2. Innovation Fund Administered by CCRep since March 2008 Awards small-project Grants up to $10,000

for Applied Health Research Targets the 6 priority areas in the 5-year SDP.

Funding rounds March & September each

year with annual disbursement up to $90,000 Competitive and accessible to all CMDHB

employees

3. Innovation Fund All research projects require ethics approval Maximum duration is 12 months (i.e. June July,

or January December) Use of funds include salaries, statistical analysis,

consumables and other justifiable expenses. Equipment and travel requests will not be

funded Final report (i.e. a poster, paper published in a

scientific journal, or scientific report) required

Review Process

1. Consult (e.g.. Clinical Head/colleagues) before submitting your application

2. CCRep will provide critical appraisal & an opportunity to revise the application to make it acceptable

3. CCRep will provide mentorship4. Funds are available from CCRep on

invoice5. A final report is required
