What does formation mean?

• Information means that I receive data and I can or leave it.

• Education means that it leads me along (educare: latin means “to lead”) to get at the end a qualification or a skill.

• Formation means that it changes me from the inside – practising virtue is a type of formation.

What kind of formation do I receive then in Carraigburn and how can I

get the best out of it?

What do I learn in human

formation?

To be a better friend

• To always give to my friends instead of expecting to receive (my time, my efforts to make them happy, successful, confident).

• To never speak badly about another person, especially when she is not there.

• To always forgive even though we are right. • To have conversations that help our friends instead of

bragging, criticising, gossiping, telling secrets.

To learn to live together: • To always think of others instead of

ourselves

formation?
