REPORT HIGHLIGHTS
The information for this report was collected through mail surveys, follow-up telephone calls, and inquiries to academic departments. The office of Career Services surveyed students who received degrees from MSU for the terms ending in December 2002, May 2003, and August 2003. This report is based on responses from 538 graduates (96% of the reported 563 degrees granted).
Of the 538 respondents:
--475 (88%) reported entering the job market.
--63 (12%) reported "Additional College."
Of the 475 respondents entering the job market:
--354 (75%) reported "Employed in Major" or "Employed Related to Major."
--29 (5%) reported still "Active in Job Search."
--Graduates reported accepting employment in 22 states and 4 foreign countries.
--339 respondents reported accepting employment in North Dakota.
