If you have questions about our recruiting process, how to prepare for an interview or maybe you’re not

sure if you’re ready apply for a position, then here are some tips on what to do next.

Recruiting Process

If you’re ready to apply, here is some information to help you with the process:

Finding the Right Position

• You can find our current positions by

clicking Search Jobs Now. You can view our

openings by location, category or keyword

search.

• When you find a position that matches what

you are looking for, read the job

requirements to make sure you’re a match.

• You can apply by submitting a resume or

updating a resume you previously

submitted.

• Can’t find the job you’re looking for? Submit

a resume at the link found under the 'Need

Assistance?' section.

Completing the Application

• It will take about 20 minutes to complete our

application.

• Read each question and answer it completely.

• Think about how best to show your strengths

and abilities.

• Check your spelling and grammar.

• Review the application before submitting.

• Write down the email address and password

you use to create your application profile. Then

you can update your application at a later date

or access your application to apply for another

opening.

• Once you submit your application, you will

receive an email confirmation.

• Due to the high volume of applications we

receive, it is not possible to contact everyone

who submits an application.

FPOCAREER FAQ’s

• A member of the PFS Recruiting team may contact you to ask you a series of questions.

• The recruiter will also provide you with additional information about the position and the benefits of PFS

employment.

• This is a great time to ask your questions and get more information about PFS.

• For some positions, you may be asked to come onsite to complete job-specific skills assessments.

The Interview

• Remember that the interview is a two-way

process. We want to get to know you, and you

want to get to know us, so we both can

determine if this is the right job for you.

• Take time to learn about PFS. This will help you

determine if you want to accept the job if offered.

• Review the job description before the

interview. Make sure you understand the

requirements of the job so you can prepare to

answer questions during the interview.

• Decide in advance what you will wear to the

interview. Depending on the position, a dress

shirt and pants for guys and a business blouse

and skirt/slacks for gals would work.

• Make sure you know how to find us and where

to park. Allow plenty of extra travel time in the

event of delays or heavy traffic.

• Bring your resume and any other required

paperwork. This will help you make a great

first impression.

• Remember to bring a pen and paper in the

event you want to take notes.

On the Day of the Interview

• Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes early.

• Remember to turn off your cell phone before

you walk into the building.

• Check in when you arrive.

• During the interview, remain polite, confident,

positive, and professional. Make good eye

contact with the recruiter.

• Take your time and think about each question

before answering.

• If you become nervous during the interview,

relax! Take some deep breaths and remember

to just be yourself.

• Don’t forget to ask any questions you may have.

• At the end of the interview, remember to

thank the recruiter for taking time to meet

with you.

• Your recruiter will let you know what to

expect after the interview.
