digital storytelling

PLEASE SIT WITH YOUR CAPSTONE BUDDY!!!

at this point you don't know what you need for your story, video, photos, etc

before you can decide all that, you need to know what your story is

and how do you start planning a story?

"Stories are the creative conversion of life itself into a more powerful, clearer, more meaningful experience. They are the currency of human contact."

- Robert McKee

We are storytelling beings.

We aren't like computers

We're wired to like stories, and to learn through stories.

We've been telling stories for a long time.

And our tools have grown.

17th century

We tell stories for many different reasons.

We tell stories for many different reasons.
