Creating a Module

• Log in to Canvas• Click Modules • Click Create a

Module

Set up Module

• Add a title to the module• Then click Add Module

Add Content• Click the plus button to add content

• 1. Choose the type of content you want to add• 2. Name the page• 3. Click Add Item• Repeat for all items

Edit Items

• Click the item you want to edit• Click Edit

• You can add content from the content selector (1)• Or edit using the Rich Content Editor (2)• Or work with html by clicking (3)• When finished, click save (4)

Edit Assignment

• Click the Assignment• Click Edit

• The editors are the same• Points (4) and assignment group (5) can be

assigned

Assignment Options

• Choose how to displaythe grade (1)

• Choose the submissionType (2)

• You can then edit theEntry options (3)

Additional Assignment Options

• You can then select if it is a group assignment (1), needs peer review (2), Change the due date (3), set notification (4), and update the assignment (5).

Your assignment

• Create a module within your class• Add a module description• Add an assignment• Make the assignment worth points
