The parents of Hades:~His mother is Rhea. She was the Titanic mother of
the gods, and a goddess of female fertility, motherhood, and generation. Rhea means “flow” and “ease.” She alsowas a goddess of comfort and ease, a blessing reflectedin the common Homeric phrase “The gods who live at
their ease.”
~His father is Kronos. He was the titan god of time andthe ages, especially time where regarded as destructiveAnd all-devouring. He ruled the cosmos during the so
called Golden Age, after castrating and deposing his father.
The siblings of Hades:~Poseidon- the god of the seas,
earthquakes, storms, and horses.
~Demeter- the goddess of the harvest.
~Hestia- the goddess of the hearth, architecture,and the right ordering of domesticity, the family
and the state.~Hera- the goddess of women and marriage.
~Zeus- the “father of gods and men”
~Chiron- the Thessalian god of healing.
The creation of Hades:Hades, the Greek god of the
underworld, was created by his father
Kronos and his mother Rhea. Hades was
swallowed by hisfather for a long time until
he was regurgitated up. He chose to be the god
of the underworld.

Hades had a three headed dog named Cerberus.
He sometimes carries a cornucopia.He holds a key
to the underworld.
