Why Peru?
Marlei Pozzebon I am Brazilian, living in Canada for
the last 20 years. I have been participating to
numerous projects of social and environmental nature.
I maintain a vast network of community-based partners in the Latin American territory.
I have organized 10 international campus since 2007.
Sonia Tello-Rozas• I am peruvian, living in Canada for
15 years. • I am a professor in social and
collective enterprises at ESG UQAM.
• For more than 18 years I have been interested in and I work on initiatives of social innovation and social economy in Latin America.
• In Montréal, I work with organizations that carry out productive activity with the aim of responding to a social mission.
What we propose?2 weeks in Peru, from 16 to 30 June 2019
An intense field experience: a concrete and engaged interaction with projects that holds
a social inclusion vision, that respects the cultural heritage and the natural resources, that preserves biodiversity, in partnership
with local organisations.
Responsible, ecological and inclusive projects
The goal of Campus Peru is to learn from projects that seek to:
Promote social, economic and political inclusion of marginalized groups;Promote the preservation of the cultural heritage – material and immaterial – and cultural diversity of a nation;Promote the preservation of the natural resources and biodiversity of the ecosystem.

What kind of projects are we going to visit, interact
and learn from?
Social-oriented business models
We will visit and interact with social entrepreneurs working in small and medium social enterprises, cooperatives and other forms of organizations. We will try to learn how to design and operate social
oriented-business models in emerging economies. What practices, what strategies, what models might help
responsible managers to conciliate social, environmental and financial goals?
