HONORING OUR VETERANS
Veterans DayPatriotic Music • Popcorn
Tuesday, November 11
Veterans Day, formerly Armistice Day, is celebrated as a federal holiday on November 11. Veterans Day has been observed annually on this date since 1978 to honor those who died in all American wars. The day has since evolved to primarily be a time of honoring living veterans who have served in the mili-tary during wartime or peacetime. In observance, flags will be sta-tioned throughout the property. Patriotic music and popcorn will be enjoyed during the noon hour. We are pleased to honor our veterans who have served our country and made it possible for us to enjoy our freedom, security and prosperity.
Ashley Watson, an administrative assistant for the Cushman & Wakefield Management Office was happy to turn in her old phone to benefit the Women’s Genesis Shelter. The phones were turned in to Phones 4 Charity who specialize in data destruction, sanitizing the phones and removing all information. Theses phones are recycled, and 100% of all proceeds go to the Genesis Women’s Shelter. A special thanks to all of you who participated in benefitting one of our city’s charities.
A representative from the North Texas Toll Authority will be in the lobby available to answer questions regarding North Texas Tolls. They will be able to open new ac-counts and distribute toll tags at this time.

A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICALMusic Hall at Fair Park
December 2 – 14
“A true gift. A sparkling new stage musical adaptation with a surprise charmer of a score.”
–New York Magazine
Ralphie Parker wants only one thing for Christmas: An official Red Ryder Carbine Action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle. This is a hilarious account of Ralphie’s desperate quest to ensure that this most perfect of gifts ends up under his tree. A Christmas Story cap-tures holiday wonder with such wit that it is sure to delight both children and grown-ups. Tickets range in price from $30 to $93 and can be purchased through Amy at the Concierge Desk.
THE DALLAS ARBORETUM
THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMASNovember 16 – January 4
The 12 Days of Christmas, unique in the world, will be located on the botanical garden grounds. Dramatically designed 15-foot-tall gazebos have been made for each day of the popular carol and include either life-size Victorian-costumed man-nequins or whimsical animals, with music accompanying each gazebo. The Arboretum selected the same team that creates many of the elaborate sets and intricate costumes for The Dallas Opera productions to design and build this holiday exhibition. Two years in the making, the idea originated with a board member's wife who knew the garden wanted a holiday exhibit for families that could be beautiful and dramatic by day and sparkling when lit at night. Discounted tickets are $11.00 at the Concierge Desk.
