HAVE YOU EVER EATEN GUMMY BEARS OR GUMMY WORMS? WHAT ARE THEY ACTUALLY MADE OF? Although many of us think that they are
very tasty, you may change your mind after finding out what they are made of. Gummy candies are made from a product called gelatin. Gelatin is a protein that is made from collagen. It is made by boiling the connective tissues, bones and skins of animals and usually comes from pigs or cows. With that being said, that makes gelatin a byproduct. But what is a byproduct?
WHAT IS A BYPRODUCT?
A byproduct is something that is made during the production or manufacture of something else. So a byproduct is a secondary product.
