Rationale

1. Organize a DICT Project Team that will be responsible for undertaking all the project-related activities.

2. Provide system installation service which shall be limited to the loading of the application software to the required ICT devices such as the servers.

3. Provide IT support in the configuration, set-up, and testing of the eBPLSsoftware.

4. Conduct one (1) session of formal/classroom users training and one (1) session on-the-job training for systems users and system administrator. The training shall be limited to education and instructing the users on how to use, implement, and operate the software.

5. Provide technical support during the database build-up and pilot stages.6. Provide support during implementation of the system.

The DICT in partnership with the DILG, conducted eBPLS Coaches Training to

facilitate nationwide roll-out of the system to the LGUs:

• Total Number of eBPLS Coaches Trained : 155 (these are the focal persons

coming from DICT, DILG, Academe/State Universities and Colleges, ICT

Councils, Bureau of Fire Protection)

The DICT, in support of the cloud first policy, provided cloud-based facility for the

LGUs to host their eBPLS system and real-time data:

• LGUs fully implementing the eBPLS : Baler-Aurora, Taal-Batangas, Paete-

Laguna, Talisay-Camarines Norte
