Types of volcanoes

Some volcanoes are asleep and never wake upfor years.Other volcanoes you can find under water and when they erupt they make a Tsunami.Some volcanoes are extinct and will not erupt.Some volcanoes are dormant and haven’t erupted for a long time but may in the future.Some volcanoes are active and erupt frequently.

In Africa you can find a volcano called mount Kilimanjaro most people think it’s a mountain but its actually a volcano. Also there's another volcano in Uganda called Nyamuragira, it is a very active volcano and erupts every 2 years with lots of lava flow.

African Under water volcanoes

Under water volcanoes are not hot they are very cold. Whitecaps Churn in the Atlantic off West Africa has an underwater volcano.
