the North Pole t0 Japan/China Second & Third Voyage-to discover
a northwest passage through the Arctic waters north of Russia
Fourth Voyage-to discover a Northwest passage to the Orient

- Difficulties Experienced on his Expeditions Encountered storms
and wind On Henry Hudson's last voyage, when his crew demanded to
go home, Hudson wanted to continue the voyage Ship stranded in ice
Hudsons crew was led to mutiny and put Hudson, his son, and other
supporters in a small boat, left to die. On Henrys third voyage,
King James I of England forbade Hudson to sail for England

Norway) and sailed west Due to bad weather, changed course and

Sailed past Scotland, Greenland, and Iceland Reached Hudson Strait
Sailed South of James Bay Reached the south most part of Hudson Bay
Got stuck in ice and suffered the winter with coldness, hunger,
scurvy, and angry Natives When the ice melted, Hudson wanted to
sail further This led the crew to mutiny
