The Business and Administration industry employs 116,200 South Australians, which is 14.2% of the State’s workforce. Around 21,831 jobs are expected to open up over the next five years due to industry growth and replacement of people who will retire. Business and Administration workers can be found within every industry, but governments, banks and insurance companies have higher numbers. There are also significant numbers in the health and community services industry. Most of the jobs are in the Adelaide metropolitan area, although there are many regional jobs available.

Employment prospectsThe Business and Administration industry employs 116,200 South Australians, which is 14.2% of the State’s workforce.

Business and Administration workers can be found within every industry, but governments, banks and insurance companies have higher numbers. There are also significant numbers in the health and community services industry.

Most of the jobs are in the Adelaide metropolitan area, although there are many regional jobs available.
