Stewardship Reflection
“You shall not covet” is perhaps a difficult commandment to keep in our consumer-oriented society. But as Christian stewards, we know that we are the recipients and caretakers of God’s many gifts. May
this understanding that all is gift help us be less resentful of the gifts of others

Facts of Consecrated Life Each religious order or congregation has a
particular gift they offer for the Church. This gift is known as their “Charism.”
This gift helps them to focus their mission and ministry on some particular aspect
of the Church’s mission. “So it is that in accordance with the Divine Plan, a
wonderful variety of religious communities has grown up which has made it
easier for the church...to be equipped for every good work and ready for the work
of the ministry—the building up of the Body of Christ.” (Second Vatican
Council, Decree on the Adaptation & Renewal of Religious Life, Perfectae
Cantatis, no. 7).
The best way of supporting our Seminarians is by praying for them.
