We at Waterfall Canyon certainly understand how a troubled adolescent can disrupt
the family system. The emotional turmoil and physical exhaustion is often overwhelm-
ing for all of our families. However, we have been able to witness the joy and peace
that comes when our students work through their struggles and begin to lead healthy,
independent and productive lives. That is why each student that attends Waterfall
Canyon will experience our multi-disciplinary team approach. Every student will re-
ceive an individualized treatment plan allowing them to progress at a rate that is ap-
propriate for his/her needs.
Our program is designed to provide a warm and nurturing environment. We are nestled
in the community which allows our students to feel more "at home" and for us to take
advantage of all that our community has to offer. We focus a great deal on daily living
skills as well as social skills. Our setting is perfect for our students to participate in ac-
tivities such as: swimming, skiing, boating, hiking, horseback riding and fishing. We
keep very busy and are never bored at Waterfall Canyon!
All of our programs highly encourage families to take advantage of all the opportuni-
ties available along side their son/daughters journey. Students receive individual,
group and family therapy in conjunction with their academics. Having our own school
allows us to give each student highly individualized attention and instruction. This set-
ting allows our students to finally begin to feel successful in the academic environ-
ment.
