Thopaz sets new standards in thoracic drainage therapy: the compact system provides regulated negative pressure at the patient’s chest, based on the patient's air leak. It monitors the air leak and only applies the suction required to maintain the negative pressure prescribed and set by the managing physician.
The digital display provides objective data in real time as well as a 24-hour historical graph of the air leak, which allows easy monitoring of the therapy progress. Set-up and handling of Thopaz is easy, with well-designed accessories adding even more comfort to the lightweight system.
