Introduction to MS-Excel
Microsoft Excel is an electronic spreadsheet. As with a paper spreadsheet, you can use
Excel to organize your data into rows and columns and to perform mathematical calculations.

How to Open MS-Excel ??
Click Start ButtonClick All Programs then click Microsoft office
and then select MS-Excel

Create New File
Click On Office Button Click On New and following window will be
displayed then click on Create Button.

Create a New File
New: Select File > New from the Menu bar. The New Workbook pane
appears on the right hand side of the screen. Under the title New select
Blank workbook. An alternative is to click the New button found on
the Standard toolbar to create a new workbook.

Save a Excel Workbook
Click on Office ButtonClick On Save so that following window will
be displayed

Save: To save click on the Save button found on the Office Button.
Choose a directory to save the file in. Specify a filename, and then press Save. This is done only the first time you try to save a file.
It is recommended that you save your changes every ten minutes. All you have to do is to press on the Save button, or simply go to File > Save. This will update your initially saved file.
