Thank you so much for your interest in Bravo All-Stars Inc. As we prepare for our 19th
season, we are anticipating a very exciting and successful year. We want you to know
that we are dedicated to giving each cheerleader the ultimate cheerleading experience.
We look forward to getting to know each individual, help them set and achieve goals,
learn the value of commitment and teamwork, and ultimately see their dreams become a
reality.
We strive in giving your child all of the proper training that is involved in this SPORT.
The staff takes pride in their role in this program and commits to making this experience
a memorable one for your child. We are all trained and qualified in making all the
decisions that need to be made to run this program as smoothly as possible. We will
keep you updated on all schedules, as we know them.
We have prepared the following information to help each family understand the
commitment level that we expect. Please take the time to thoroughly read over the
packet in full. For you veteran families, you will notice some changes in policies and
procedures. For our new members, please take the time to read all of the materials. This
is not a “recreation” program. Bravo All-Stars Inc. is a competitive, cutting edge program
that has high expectations. We know that the level of commitment (time and financial) is
not for everyone, so please take the time to discuss the following information with your
child. If your child elects to participate in the all-star program, please continue to
encourage your child throughout the season and help your child stay focused on the
desired goal.

ABSENCE POLICY Every cheerleader is required to be at every practice, gymnastic class, camp,
choreography session and special event. Bravo All-Stars reserves the right to remove any
child from the program because of excessive excused absences as well. If your child is
involved in any other activities besides all-star cheerleading, please make sure they will
not have conflicts. From June-August when planning family vacations please plan in
conjunction with any of the above listed summer breaks. Please plan accordingly.
After September 1st, a student is allowed up to 3 unexcused absents. The ONLY
excused absence is a school function that results in a grade. All other absences are
unexcused. Part-time jobs, dances, concerts, banquets, long distance driving, family
reunions, weddings, recitals, and other non-related school activities are unexcused.
Absences are NOT allowed the weekend and week prior to a competition. An unexcused
absence may result in the athlete being moved to an alternate position or pulled from the
upcoming performance at the discretion of the staff. It is the responsibility of the
athletes to learn any changes prior to practices.
Please notify the gym 1-2 weeks in advance with any absences. Your school activities are
planned well in advance. Excessive absences will result in one or all of the following:
become an alternate, the inability to compete, and dismissal from the team. There are
always circumstances that present themselves, but remember you have made a
commitment to be part of this program and your decision not only affects you, but it
affects your team mates. No Exceptions!!
TEAM PRACTICE RULES There is NO JEWELRY worn at practices, which includes all earrings, belly rings, and necklaces.
This is for safety of all athletes. Athletes CELL PHONES should be turned OFF and collected

the team i.e. if a special event arises and certain items are needed to obtain the

the needs for our season but there are occasions where something additional is
requested that are important to the program’s look. All prices are ESTIMATIONS and are

We believe in perfection before progression. We will not allow athletes to learn
advanced tumbling skills before perfecting their basics. Only perfected skills will be
choreographed in our routines.
Athletes selected as flyers must maintain flexibility and skill requirements. Selected flyers
unable to meet the level requirements must learn to base as well.
Bravo All-Stars has the right to change a teams division and level at any time throughout
the year.
We believe that you entrust us with the proper placement of your child and we
understand that emotions run high when this process is underway. However, we will not
hold meetings to discuss placement of athlete nor change child’s placement because a
parent disagrees. We need to evaluate many aspects of a cheerleader and being higher
in tumbling does not always warrant an athlete to be on that level team. We will do
what’s best for the athlete, the team, and the program. Bravo All-Stars reserves the right
to move or switch around any athlete that is a crossover at any given time within the
season.
