ANCHORAGES & GUEST DOCKS

Marina del Rey has over 4,600 boat slips. The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors oversees

all anchorages in the Marina. Individual anchorages are managed by a number of public and private organizations,

including yacht clubs and apartment management companies. A dockmaster at each anchorage is in charge of

renting slips. For local regulations on boating in the harbor, and for live-aboard questions, contact the Harbor Master

Public Launch Ramp - 13477 Fiji Way (Basin H)

Open 24 hours. All vessels must be trailerable. Dinghies can also

be launched at no cost near Marina Beach; limited-time unloading

zone.

24-Hour Fee: $13 launch fee for vehicle plus boat trailer; $10 for

vehicle only. Pay machine accepts cash, coins, credit/debit cards

(Mastercard and Visa). Fee includes launching, recovery, and 24-hour

parking for auto and trailer. Trailer must be attached to a tow vehicle

at all times. Vehicle must display parking receipt front-side-up and

visible on the driver’s side dashboard of the vehicle for each day

parked. Parking is allowed for a maximum of seven days within a

30-day period; vehicles parked for more than seven days within a

30-day period may be cited and towed at vehicle owner’s expense.

Guest Docks and Pump-Out (Main Channel between Basins G and H)

Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way. For information, call 424-

526-7910 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily.

Four-Hour Guest Dock: Free of charge in designated area.

Registration is not required; space is available on a first-come,

first-served basis.

Overnight Guest Dock: Visitors must register in the Burton Chace

Park Office located in the center of the park. A valid photo I.D. and

current boat registration are required. Space is available on a first-

come, first-served basis.

• Length of Stay: Seven-day maximum stay within a 30-day

period. Check-out time is 12 p.m. on the last paid day.

• Fees: $1.15/ft. per night; minimum fee is $8. Slip fees must be

paid at time of arrival. Cash and credit cards (Mastercard and

Visa) are accepted.

• After-Hours Registration: If you arrive after operating hours, you

are expected to register the next morning and compensate for the

night before.

Pump-Out Station: The pump-out station is available to any

boater, with 20 minutes of complimentary tie-up time to use the

facilities.

Dry Boat Storage

Marina del Rey offers dry boat storage facilities. For information,

contact L.A. County Department of Beaches and Harbors’ Boating

Section at 424-526-7890 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily (except

holidays).

Dry Dock Storage: For powerboats up to 40’ in length, located

at Dock 77 (13560 Mindanao Way).

Mast-Up Storage: For sailboats up to 31’ in length. Located at

the corner of Fiji and Admiralty ways near the Public Boat Launch

Ramp (13477 Fiji Way). Requirements: Sailboats must be stored on

a trailer; boat and trailer must have current registration; boat and

tow vehicle must have valid insurance; and owner must be able to

provide documentation and a picture displaying the CF number.

Dinghy/Stand-Up Paddleboard/Rowing Shell/Kayak Storage:

Located on the east side of Marina Beach at the corner of Admiralty

and Palawan ways; at Dock 77 (13560 Mindanao Way); and next to

the Public Boat Launch Ramp entrance (13477 Fiji Way).
