Except for learning some basic skills, thsi class also cultivates the aethestic standard. Graphic Design part includes posters,commercial, maganize covers, CD covers,Book covers and some small activities.

The motion design partincludes 3D effects. Imade the dices and a dice cup. Frankly, we did not do anyother activity in this part. Mainlybecause of the computers in Tung Hai U.

There is a Julie & Julia Project in my blogspot.com. It is similar to themovie Julie&Julia. Maily, it is about recipes andsome cooking skills, but it also contains manypersonal life experienceand thoughts.

Blue Jhou Self-Introduction

Blue Jhou, an English and French Major Student in TungHai Uni. I am going to graduate pretty soon. I have a very strong interest in Design. Devil Wears Prada is one of my inspiration . After watching this movie, it makes me want to work in thie similar Design Industry. Studying language is one way to broaden my horizon. It enables me to see and experience more than any other people.

Originally, I am from Taichung, Taiwan.I have been staying in Chicago to study for one semester. I took many cultural related classes while I was in U.S.A.. Intercultural materials always interest me.

Though my major is not Art-related, I �nd it very interesting to combine Arts with other materials. Literature can be a very good illustration. Whenever I read some beautiful poems, I tend to picture the scenes that authors try to deliver and express.

3D e�ects

Serves 4 As A Main Course Or 6 As A First Course

1 Pound Long Pasta-Either Dried Spaghetti or Fresh Fettuccine1/4 Cup Fresh Lemon Thyme (Or Fresh Parsley or Basil)

1 Medium Cloves Of Garlic, Minced1/4 Cup Olive Oil

Zest & Juice Of Two Lemons1/2 Cup Toasted Pine Nuts

Salt & Pepper

Mix together the oil, garlic, thyme, lemon zest and juice. Season with salt and pepper. Add the toasted pine nuts, stir well, and allow to sit for a couple of hours for the �avors to meld. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until it is al dente. Just before draining, remove a small cup of pasta water.

Drain the pasta, and return it to the pot with the lemon sauce over high heat. Add a little pasta water to prevent it from drying out. As soon as it is piping hot, remove from the heat and serve. Scoop the pine nuts o� the bottom of the pot to top the pasta, and serve topped with grilled shrimp if using. O�er additional cracked black pepper if desired.

B MaganizeWeekend Reading Tip...b magazine

As soon as b store's eponymous publication was �rst unveiled back in September we were hooked. Now on its fourth issue we still cannot put it down. b magazine is a publication that sells ideas and information.

Editorially driven, it looks at creatives from a wonderfully unique angle. The world it weaves through and explores means that this is a publication that is nigh on impossible to put down. It concerns itself with what they are reading, rather than what they are wearing and worries more about familiarity than fantasy. In this stellar fourth issue we are introduced to a number of gallery gangs, hear tales from four �lmakers who are distorting the space between reality and epitome, fall ever more for the tailored charms of the delightful Ian Batten, immerse ourselves in 90s clubland and are taken on a brutalistic tour of the capital. It is quite the read.

Entitled HEAT WAVE, the issue helps us get in to the Summer sensibility (in spite of the current threat of a torrential downpour) as photographers Aitken Jolly, Mel Bles, Alex Sainsbury and Nick Dorey shoot the very best that the warm season has to o�er and preview b stores’s �rst full womenswear collection designed by Natascha Stolle. Despite tempting me with the label's womenswear, it is the men's editorials that get me hot under the collar as they showcase combination after combination of key pieces from my favourite designers. Below are just a few of the highlights...

As I wait hopefully and somewhat impatiently for the the return of the sunshine (and daydream about those Wooyoungmi boots), I'll continue to immerse myself in and feel the editorial warmth of b magazine's heat wave.

Having �rst seduced the 'Land of the Morning Calm' with her vision of menswear, the Korean designer Wooyongmi then began showing in Paris in July 2002 with her eponymous line. With an eye for advanced sartorial details, the designer has since established herself as a must-see show on Paris' hectic Sunday schedule. From the very beginning, the designer has been fond of straight and clean graphic cuts and has constructed a design signature of simple, modern and carefully crafted pieces.

Each season, her garments are streamlined and enriched with details and styled �nishes that reinvent the wardrobe for men without frightening them. Wooyoungmi o�ers a quiet revolution. Now, I have long been a member of the party but have not been able to wear the covetable uniform. However, thanks to our wise Tokyo guide, Mr Streetpeeper, I was able to pick up a couple of current season bargains at the Gotemba Premium Outlet Mall. Susie has already detailed her enthusiasm for this sprawling kingdom of reduced prices that left us both guilt ridden tourists as we turned our backs on the wonders of Mount Fuji and instead headed to the red bricked, promised land of discounting. All I'll say is I'm very pleased with my souvenirs from Gotemba. The pick of the bunch were two items from Wooyoungmi's stunning SS11 collection that I uncovered in the Via Bus Stop store.

For SS11, Wooyongmi showcased a myriad of potent sartorial concoctions that blurred the lines between individual garments and explore the idea of a uniforn. With a focused intent on highlighting the importance of outerwear across all seasons, the label managed to o�er elegant coats which were at times hybrids of shirts and at others, jackets.
