Event Concept

Rather than assigning guests to tables, guests were assigned to “clubs.” Five clubs were designed and named after a particular

guest or group. For instance “Mollie’s Club” included 60 friends on the bat mitzvah who sat at faux fur covered tables in a

specially designed area of the room. “The Rashi Lounge” included 30 friends who the hosts knew through their child’s school.

A club named after a grandmother included family members. Another, named after the hosts, included their closest friends.

Design elements involved an Ice Bar, leather couches, high tables and low tables. Logos were created for each “club” and

printed on place cards and projected on the walls and ceilings near each “club.” Dramatic lighting enhanced the event.
