For example: Sorry, I can´t go to the mal. I have to clean up my room.

Put onThis phrasal verb means to put some clothes or ítem on any surface of your body.

For example:

Give me a minute, i have to put on some lotion.

Show upThis phrasal verb means to appear at certain event or place.

For example:

I have to take my Little brother to school, but i´ll show up for lunch at your place at 1 pm.

Throw awayThis phrasal verb means to dispose something that you dont want anymore in the garbage or other place.

For example: I have to Throw away all of this magazines that i dont read anymore.

Dress upThis phrasal verb means to wear something really nice for a special ocasión.

For example:

Tomorrow night is my birthday so im going to Dress up.

Cheer upThis phrasal verb means to change your mood if your sad or thinking about something that you dont like, to be happy again and with a happy face.

For example:Lets go to the theather to see a movie, that will Cheer you up.

Calm downThis phrasal verb means to relaxe if we are in a situation that is making us feel either angry or sad.

For example:Amy i know how you must be feeling but please calm down.

Let downThis phrasal verb means to dissapoint someone with your actions.

For example:

Michael, this night is important to me so please dont let me down.

Cut downThis phrasal verb means to reduce the number of something.

For example:Since i dont have a job right now, i have to cut down my expenses.
