#69.5 BITCOIN

Bitcoin is just information, just like contracts are information, just like you are information.

All of this information can now be created, tangibly valued and stored on a public, world-wide ledger called the blockchain(s).

Blockchains are accessible and available for all to view unanimously and participate in universally.

If a blockchain(s) is not public or geared toward the public good, it is not a blockchain, it is a big ol’ database being integrated by major corporations because buzz words are fun.

People like to create reasons to change.

How is Bitcoin created?

Computing power of

=

1 Petahash

Computing power of

=

525 Petahash

One Network

=

525

Is mining the only way to create cryptocurrency?

When would you use proof of stake?

These are a few, nowhere near all, of the ICO’s that have happened since 2014.

Bitcoin is not “the internet”.

Bitcoin is “the internet of money”.

What could the impact of this technology mean for the planet?

1. REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH / DEMONETIZATION

2. DEMOCRATIZED ACCESS TO RIGHTS

3. DEMATERIALIZATION OF THINGS

4. DECENTRALIZATION, OR DEEPER DISTRIBUTION OF POWERS

5. SYSTEMIC RESTRUCTURING OF OWNERSHIP MODELS

And so much more.

The system is only as good as the minds participating.

Start imagining, Keep building, Stick to your principles.

Thank you.
