The concept is to establish a "scrapbook" of games/fun activities and pass them from their P.E. classes forward to the home and beyond.

Learning Goals1.      To increase the participant's sense of personal confidence.            -     Students to increasingly view themselves as capable and competent

            -    Succeeding and/or failing in a supportive group atmosphere2.      To increase mutual support within a group.            -     Anyone who conscientiously tries should be respected            -     Success/failure less important than making an effort            -     Use of teams, points and timed competition consciously minimized 3.       To develop and increased level of agility and physical coordination.4.       To develop an increased joy in one's physical self and in being with others. Rohnke, K. Two children lock their arms together and are it or "the blob."

All the other children lock arms and run to avoid being tagged by the blob.

If the Blob tags a child, they become part of the Blob and both children lock arms with the blob.

Only the end person of the Blob can tag other players.

If any person in the blob breaks arms they forfeit a tag.

If you break arms with your partner you are automatically caught.

Boundaries are marked at the beginning of the game and if you cross them you are automatically caught.Boundaries also tend to get smaller throughoutthe game so there is a tighter running space.

If any member of the blob crosses the boundaries they forfeit a tag.

Play until only one team is left and they win!

Variations of the game include: *giving the children at the end of the blob foam swords to tag with *allowing the blob to pivot to tag people *allowing the blob to break apart when a predetermined number of people have been tagged.*cones can be moved to make the game area smaller, making it easier for the giant blob to catch the teams that are left. Job DescriptionsErica Amaya• Photographer• Picture Editor • Organizer
