The black bear lives in the forest. They live in large areas.

Food• They eat berries and fish. Black bears almost eat everything. Mostly they eat fish. Their second favorite food is berries.

Protection and Enemies• Human are mostly their enemies. Wolves are

the second enemies. Bears are strong so they can protect themselves.

Babies

• Young cubs are playful and full of curiosity. Cubs grow fast to become an adult. When they are young they watches their mother.

Interesting facts• Black bears have black fur. She watches her mother when she is young. She learns to catch fish and hunt. She smells with her large nose. Black bears have very large eyes.
