God sent the archangel

Gabriel to….

a young woman

called Mary,

saying…

You will have God’s son,

Jesus, and

He will be the

Saviour of the world

Mary’s fiancé Joseph supported

her

Mary &

Joseph had to travel

to register in

Caesar’s Census

They travelled all the way to Bethlehem

But there was nowhere to

stay

But they were allowed to

rest in a stable

A great star shone above the stable

That night Mary gave

birth to Jesus there

and laid Him in the

manger

Shepherds were in a

field nearby watching

their sheep

Suddenly the sky was

alight with angels

saying

Glad tidings

of great

joy

The shepherds

went to find Jesus and took a lamb as a

gift

“They found

Mary & Joseph & baby Jesus and gave their

lamb

Some time later 3 wise

men from the East came to worship Jesus. They followed the

star…

…which led

them to

Jesus

They brought

expensive gifts - Gold for a King

Frankincense– for a High Priest

Myrrh – for a suffering

Servant

Angels filled the

night sky in worship

& singing Glory, glory

glory

because the Prince of

Peace had come!Jesus is

God’s gift of love to the world. Happy

Birthday Jesus!
