It will recommend its people before the Lord.
Intercede for its companions
Envy is permissible only in respect of two men: one whom Allah gives his book, and who stands reciting it day and night, and a man whom Allah gives wealth, which he gives in charity day and night.
The believer who recites the Qur‟an is like a citrus fruit- its fragrance is pleasing and its taste is sweet.
Allah exalts some people and lowers others by this Book
THE REWARD FOR THOSE WHO

“And We send down of the Qur'an that which is ahealing and a mercy to those who believe (in IslamicMonotheism and act on it), and it increases theZaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) nothing but

HEALING FOR THE HEARTS
“O mankind! There has come to you a good advice
from your Lord (i.e. the Qur'an, enjoining all that is
good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing
for that which is in your hearts”. [Yoonus 10:57]
The Qur‟an is the best guidebook on how tostructure our life.
The Qur‟an tells us how to communicatewith the source of all intelligence and thesource of all life.
The Qur‟an tells us who Allah is, by what name we should address Him, and the way in which to communicate with Him.
GUIDANCE FOR THE BELIEVERS
“Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad)
the Book (this Qur'an) for mankind in truth. So
whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his
own self; and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray
only for his (own) loss. And you (O Muhammad) are
not a Wakeel (trustee or disposer of affairs, or
guardian) over them”[al-Zumar 39:41

it as a judge
when there

To
abandon
using it as

Abdullah ibn „Amr stated, “The Day of Judgment will not come until the Qur‟an returns from where it was revealed. It will have a sound like the buzzing of bees and it will say, „O may Lord! From you I came and to you I am returning. I am recited, but not acted upon; I am recited, but not acted upon.”
“What is the matter with them, that they have turned away from the Remembrance?” 74:49
“And whoever turns away from My Remembrance (the Qur‟an), for him is a life of
hardship, and We shall raise him up, on the Day of Judgment, blind. He will say, „O May Lord!
Why have you resurrected me blind, when I used to see (in the world)? Allah will
respond, „Likewise (in this manner), Our verses came to you, but you ignored them.
And, likewise, today you shall be ignored.” (20:124-126)
“The Qur‟an will meet its companion on the
Day of Judgment when his grave is opened
for him, in the form of a pale man. It will say
to him, „Do you recognize me?‟ He will say: I
do not recognize you.‟ It will say: „I am your
companion the Qur‟an, who kept you thirsty
on hot days and kept you awake at night.
Every merchant benefits from his business
and today you will benefit from your good
deeds.‟ He will be given dominion in his right
hand and eternity in his left, and there will
be placed on his head a crown of dignity, and
his parents will be clothed with priceless
garments the like of which have never been
seen in this world. They will say: „Why have
we been clothed with his?‟ It will be said:
„Because your son used to recite Qur‟an.‟
Then it will be said to him: „Recite and ascend
in the degrees of Paradise,‟ and he will
continue to ascend so long as he
recites, either at a fast pace or a slow pace.
(Ahmad, Ibn Majah)
