Being Creative is What Internally Motivates Me

Happiness is brought out through creativity.

Hope

Dreams, so believe they come

Time, life itself goes on.

With hope you can make your

Dreams come true.

Whenever things go wrong,

I know that they can get

Better if I have hope and try.

Hope is what makes me happy.

Hope (cont.)

Approval of mothers, of brothers,

Of strangers-a plunge of the hands

In sifted flour, over the wrists.

It gives pleasure.

Approval by others is not easy.

What do I do to make myself seem so unlikeable?

I don’t know.

Hope (cont.)

It seems that no matter how hard I try,

Approval is extremely hard to gain.

I never give up trying.

If you just try you can be happy.

CIA, where I plan to go to college

Cooking is my strong point.

This is a place where I would be happier

Many emotions are affected by the place you’re in.

Life Accomplishment

From the time I was about 5 years old until almost 16 I was very overweight. This caused me to have a low self-esteem, judge myself very harshly, and become very shy which led to having basically no friends and becoming the very hateful person that I am today. When I was in 9th grade I decided to make a big change in my life. I was sick of being the way I was.

Life Accomplishment (cont.)

I started to have a very strict diet and exercise everyday. I kept losing weight and was very happy. I lost about 60 lbs. I had lots of energy and motivation and felt really good about myself. I’ve managed to keep most of it off up until now and I hope I can for a long time to come. I can’t believe how losing the weight has changed my life so drastically.

Life Accomplishment (cont.)

I don’t feel embarrassed in gym class or at school and have a high self-esteem.

One change in your life can make an unbelievable difference.

Creativity is the spice of my life.

A Hunger - Personal anthem poem

Black beans, white sunlight.

These have sufficed.

Approval of mothers, of brothers,

of strangers - a plunge of the hands

in sifted flour, over the wrists.

It gives pleasure.

Poem (cont.)

And being needed. Being loved for that.

Being forgiven.

What mountains there are

to border solitude and provide

limits, blue or

dark as raisins.

Poem (cont.)

But hunger : a hunger there is

refuses. Refuses the earth.

Approval is a must in everyone’s life.

Portishead - Half Day Closing - Personal anthem song

In the days, the golden days,

When everybody knew what they wanted

That ain’t here today

Through the times of last and low

And stop the things trying the past day

They don’t feel the same

Song (cont.)

Dreams, so believe they come

Time, Life itself goes on

From beyond the shoupion skies

The money talks and leaves us hypnotized

Don’t pay the way

Underneath the fading sun

Song (cont.)

The silent song of a business man

Has left us choking

Dreams, so believe they come

Time, life itself goes on

In the days, the golden days,

When everybody knew what they wanted

Song (cont.)

It ain’t here today

Dreams, I believe they’ve gone

Time, life itself goes on

If you want your dreams to come true, you have to make them
