John 1:21
They asked him, "Then who are you? Are you Elijah?"
He said, "I am not.""Are you the Prophet?"He answered, "No."
How was Christ like the prophet Moses?
Moses spoke to God face to face - just like Christ did.
Moses was before God on the mountain 40 days - Christ was before God in the desert 40 days
Moses lead Israel out of bondage - just like Christ leads us out of the bondage of sin.
Anyone who will not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.
Acts 3:23
Anyone who will not listen to Him I myself will call him to account.
Deuteronomy 18:19
Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised, in the flesh, will be cut off from his
people; he has broken my covenant.
Genesis 17:14
"To my fellow Israelites - Christ is the promised Prophet. If you fail to listen to
him, if you fail to change your minds about the promised King, from all of the
covenantal promises given to our people, you will be utterly cut off - to your
eternal ruin."
Matthew 8:12
"I say to you that many will take their places at the feast with Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness,
where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
