HONOR CODE NCA’S HONOR CODE

HONOR CODE

As a Connections student, I know that

academic honesty is critical to my own

success, as well as to the mission of my

School. I also understand that an Honor

Code is, by its nature, limited not only to

those situations spelled out in the code,

but includes the spirit of honesty and

ethics implied by the written code. I

agree that I will uphold not only the

letter of this code but also its implied

intent of ongoing commitment to full

academic honesty.

• Submit original work

• Everything MUST be your

own work

• Plagiarism will result in

discipline

• Don’t know the material?

– Call your teacher for help.

• Do NOT copy and paste

I just wanted to remind you not to panic about your grades at this

point. Keep in mind that you have only completed a few

assignments and as such, the grades are not a true representation of

how you are doing. As more assignments, tests, quizzes and

portfolios get completed, the grade will more closely represent how

you are doing.

Students, please be sure you are doing your best and taking your

time on tests, quizzes, and quick-checks. Write in complete

sentences, and re-read your answers to make sure they make

sense. For the Language Arts class, remember that on your tests,

quizzes, and quick-checks, you are allowed to use your textbook,

notes, and other Connections resources.

Some students find it helpful to print out tests and quizzes and do

them on paper first, and then enter them into the computer. Do

whatever works best for you!

Thanks for all the hard work!
