20/30 Meducation is a specialist training facility linked to the microbiological testing laboratory, 20/30 Labs,

which has been testing Endoscopy decontamination equipment for more than 10 years. With this experience,

20/30 Meducation offers a range of training courses, providing customers with a better understanding of the testing

requirements.

This CPD-certified course offers an introduction to basic microbiology, taking a closer look at some relevant organisms such as P.aeruginosa, S.aureus and Environmental Mycobacteria, discussing why they may be of concern. The course also covers principles of aseptic sampling technique, and finally runs through “The Journey of a Sample”, explaining the periodic tests carried out on endoscope washers and storage cabinets, providing you with more knowledge to understand and interpret results.
