In 2007 American society was tired of the global anti-war and anti-globalization campaigns of George W. Bush, so people had a great need for a new leader who would lead the country to Stability and Confidence in future.

Obama made a strong perception as a Charismatic Leader which could lead US to economic stability and prosperity.

During the election Obama emphasized the issues of rapidly ending the Iraq War, increasing energy independence and providing universal health care.

In his first few days after his inauguration in office Obama issued executive orders and presidential memoranda directing the U.S. military to develop plans to withdraw troops from Iraq.

In his first year-plus in office, Barack Obama has provided us with enough examples to summarize his leadership style.

Transformational:Charismatic Leadership

“. . . We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America,”

Obama said just before he was elected president in November 2008.

Since his victory the president has made very clear his reverence for the idea of transformational leader-ship.  He has identified “Transformative moments” that must be seized.

synonymous with “Charismatic Leadership”

The Transformational Leader gives the audi-ence hope and makes it believe that, together, they can create a better future.

To be sure, “Charisma” isn't everything.
