Surrender is a Prerequisite for Church Strengthening through Kingdom Advancement.
SurrenderstartswithhumilityandrealizingthatweneedGod’swisdom,power,glory,blessing,loveandheadshipaswechoosetomoveforwardthroughchurchstrengthening. SurrenderrequiresaGalatians2:20mentalitynotonlyforourlivesbutalso in the contextofbeinga church togetheraswework forKingdomAdvancement. SurrenderisallowingChristtoLEADthroughtheprocess,whichmeansthe churchmust followHim,which is impossiblewithout complete andintentionalsurrender.
Possibleareasofconcern: · Surrenderofourneedtocontrolpresentorfuturesituations. · SurrenderofourtraditionsthatactuallyhinderKingdomAdvancement. · Surrenderofwhatwehaveordonothaveinthebank,notallowing

ThestatedrillwasheldonSaturday,April29,atEllendaleBaptistChurch.100drillersparticipated.82receivedStateSuperior(22versescorrect)and12wereStatewinners(20versescorrect).
Focus Church UpdateWepraiseGodforanothersuccessfulyearofworkingwith our Focus Churches.Dr.Danny Sinquefield of FaithBaptistChurchhas led thisnine-monthprocessforchurchesontheeastsideoftown.Therehavebeenoutstanding guest speakers, great peer learning, and manystimulatingdiscussions. Lookingtothefuture,Dr.ChuckHerringofColliervilleFirst Baptist Church has agreed to lead our FocusChurches next year.
