BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTBrandi Thomas, M.Ed. & Shumin XuKindergarten Chinese Immersion Program 2014-2015
A little bit about Mrs. Thomas Hello, I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher and to join
the Chinese Immersion Program! I have been teaching for 20 years and moved here from
Oklahoma City two years ago. I taught in Deer Creek, Edmond, and Putnam City Public Schools before becoming a Jenks Trojan.
I attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I also received a Master’s degree in education from UCO.
I enjoy being outdoors, running, reading, and being with friends and family.
A little bit about Xu Laoshi Nihao! 你好! I’m very excited to be your child’s Laoshi. I have been teaching and tutoring undergraduate Chinese
courses at the University of Oklahoma for one year and a half. I moved here from Moore this August. I am proud to become a Jenks Trojan.
I attended Jiangnan University in China and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts and Literature. I also received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from OU. I am currently working on my second Master’s degree in Education.
I enjoy jogging, fishing, cooking, travelling, watching cartoons/movies and hanging with my friends and family.
