AUTUMN IN GREECE

In Greece, autumn lasts about three months and it’ s a season

of mild weather, ideal for outdoor activities.

Τhe beauty of Greek landscape, combined with the mild temperature and cool air, compose a romantic atmosphere and an attractive picture of rich colour.

September is the transition period from summer to autumn. A mild temperature of 25 ° C and a bright sun characterize this month and give us the opportunity to get outside and take nature walks.

SEPTEMBER

OCTOBER

In October, the second month of autumn, the temperature is about 2O° C and the first rains begin to fall . The “small summer of St Demetrios” (“Indian summer”) lasts till the end of the month.

In November the temperature

drops below 20o C.

NOVEMBER

It often rains and the first snowflakes begin

to fall on the mountains of North Greece.
